A Convenient Way to Write to Your Members of Congress

Energy Alternatives created a tool you can use to conveniently write your Members of Congress and urge them to co-sponsor the Open Fuel Standard Act. It has a pre-written message, but you can edit the text to customize your message. You just fill out your name and address and it automatically addresses your message and sends it to the Representative of your district. Click here to use it.

Here's another one, but this one was created by the American Coalition for Ethanol. It works the same way. It has a pre-written message but you can edit the text in anyway you want, or put in your own message. Click here to use it.

You can also call your Members of Congress. And you can find them on Facebook (most now have an official Facebook page) and "like" the page, and then post messages on your Member's Facebook page.

We have advocates in D.C. right now who are visiting our Members of Congress personally, and it makes their visits more productive and more persuasive when the Congressperson they're talking to has heard from his or her constituents (you, for example) about this bill.
